We’ve put together a list of outdoor activities, sporting and otherwise. You’ll be able to take full advantage of the rich landscapes of Morbihan, which means “little sea” in Breton.
Enjoy the Celt'aventures treetop adventure course
Discover the Celt’aventures tree climbing course, located 15 minutes from the Lann Hoëdic campsite in Sarzeau. The park opens the doors to its enchanted world and is delighted to welcome you to its magical forest. Enter an exceptional setting to enjoy a concentration of leisure activities in the heart of a preserved forest of over 12 hectares.
There’s a wide choice of activities: tree climbing, QuickJump, LaserTag, outdoor EscapeGame, treasure hunts, cross-country scooters, Archery Tag, Disc Golf, Trampo-Bungy, orienteering or a ride on off-road scooters, and much more!
Horse-riding at the Kerblanquet riding centre
Enjoy a horse ride by the Gulf of Morbihan with the Kerblanquet riding centre. Located in Sarzeau in Morbihan, between the gulf and the ocean, the Kerblanquet riding centre and pony club welcome you all year round. They offer a wide range of activities, including lessons, rides on the Gulf and by the sea, and courses for all ages and levels.
The state-qualified team is on hand to listen to your needs and ensure you have a great time.
Stroll along the most beautiful beaches of the Rhuys peninsula
One of the highlights of your visit to the Rhuys peninsula is to discover our most beautiful beaches. The Rhuys peninsula is part of the Gulf of Morbihan regional nature park and offers a range of beaches, each more beautiful than the next, close to our campsite.
Roaliguen beach
Roaliguen Beach is located about 15 minutes on foot from the campsite. It is particularly popular with tidal fishing enthusiasts due to its rich seabed. Although it can be quite busy, the beach has managed to retain a friendly, family atmosphere with many locals. Swimming here is supervised, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers. Additionally, the beach is accessible via a cycle path, 5 minutes away from the campsite. It is an ideal place to spend time with family or friends, offering various activities, from swimming to sailing.
Suscinio beach
Close to the Château de Suscinio, the Bay of Suscinio stretches for 3 kilometres, from Beglan beach to the Pointe de Penvins. With its exceptional panorama, unique environment and calm, relaxing beach, it was voted Ouest France readers’ favourite beach in 2014.
Beg Lann Beach - Sarzeau
This small beach of pebbles and crushed shells, interspersed with rocks, offers tranquillity and discretion to those who come here to relax.
Regular visitors will tell you that they appreciate the peace and quiet when the season is at its peak. Beg Lann beach is also an ideal spot for shore fishing.
From Roaliguen beach, continue east along the coastal path.
Kerver Beach - Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys
Kerver beach is the largest beach in Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys and extends as far as the commune of Arzon – Port Crouesty – Port Navalo.
Visit the Landes de Lanvaux
Fancy visiting land and sea during your stay in Morbihan? The Landes de Lanvaux in Molac are the perfect place to do just that! Crossing Morbihan from east to west, the Landes de Lanvaux are a real haven of peace, offering a panorama of wild lands. A natural environment rich in diverse flora and fauna and exceptional megalithic sites.
You’ll discover a surprising landscape, with heather and broom colouring the ground with their shimmering hues. You can also spot a number of protected species, such as the royal osmund and the pretty yellow-flowered narthecia, which have found their home on the moor. It is also home to a number of endangered animal species such as the black woodpecker and the Quimper snail.
Vannes, city of Art and History
Vannes, a medieval capital and former seat of the Parliament of Brittany, has managed to preserve the main remnants of its rich history. From antiquity to contemporary times, the city of Vannes has navigated through the major historical periods with ups and downs. While the creation of the city dates back to the Gallo-Roman period and its political heyday was in the 17th century, it was during the Middle Ages that life truly flourished, with the city’s playful curves taking shape, adorned with colors and wooden panels…

Discover the Château de Suscinio on the Rhuys peninsula
Come and discover the medieval Château de Suscinio, 10 minutes from our Lann Hoëdic campsite. The programme includes a visit to an ancient fortress and hunting lodge, where you can learn about daily life in the Middle Ages. A site full of stories and legends, you’ll be amazed by its 800 years of history on the Rhuys peninsula.
Throughout the year, the Domaine de Suscinio offers a rich calendar of events: Visits and workshops accompanied by an interpreter, walks in the meadows or natural areas, hunting camp, animal park…
Visit the Flore-S645 submarine and its museum in Lorient
The Lorient base, the largest military fortress in Europe, was built by the Germans during the Second World War. It was then used by the French Navy as the headquarters of the Atlantic submarine squadron until 1997.
The Flore-S645 submarine has been based at the former submarine base in Lorient for over 30 years. During this visit, you will learn more about the history of this legendary submarine, but not only that. You will understand the role that Lorient played as a strategic place open to the world.
National Maritime Museum in Port-Louis
The Musée de la Marine, located in the Port-Louis citadel in Lorient, tells the story of maritime epics, sea rescue and archaeological treasures. A monument rich in 400 years of history, with an exceptional panorama of the island of Groix, the Pointe de Gâvres and Larmor Plage.
On the programme for your visit, three rooms of the Musée national de la Marine will take you into the wake of the sea rescuers, then take you back into the history of distant trade and finally present underwater archaeology: cannons, sextants and porcelain.
